To celebrate #MedSafetyWeek, Drug Safety Matters presents a two-part episode on medicine safety communication campaigns and how they help us spread the pharmacovigilance message.
This year, #MedSafetyWeek takes place from 6–12 November, with the theme “Who can report?” In the second of this special two-part episode on pharmacovigilance communication campaigns, hear from three #MedSafetyWeek veterans – Anne-Cécile Vuillemin from the Ministry of Health in Luxembourg, Ban Al-Shimran from the Iraqi Ministry of Health, and Frieda Shigwedha from the Therapeutic Information and Pharmacovigilance Centre in Namibia – about what makes a successful campaign.
There is much to learn from this episode, from how to deal with financial, logistical, and cultural challenges of campaign planning, to tailoring your communication strategy to your setting and other things to keep in mind if you are new to #MedSafetyWeek.
